Beginning 2D space Shooter-Adding a Main Menu and loading scenes
Last time we made ourselves a end state, so clearly the next step is to make a start state. But this time instead of building into the game scene we have made ourselves a secondary scene that will be housing all of the main menu elements. Making sure that we have the scenes in the correct order so we can load the correct scene.
We then attach the object this script is attached to to the new game button and have it call the function on click and we have ourselves a working start menu!
